OurCFB is an IRS recognized 501(C)(3) not-for-profit public charity that raises and distributes funds for multiple organizations. The organization receives a substantial part of its financial support in the form of contributions from the general public, as well as funds from rCFB, LLC.

Contributions to OurCFB are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

The activities of the organization are to raise money that will be donated to other 501(C)(3) organizations. These activities by OurCFB include Holiday Fund Drive(s), One-off Brick Campaign(s), and other similar activities. The business and affairs of OurCFB are managed by the Board of Directors.

The activities are conducted by the volunteer staff of /r/CFB, and occur primarily online with outreach via social media websites such as, but not limited to, Reddit and Twitter. No expenses are associated with the organization's activities; the outreach has zero cost to post on sites. The transaction fees associated with online payments system, if any, are paid by the donors at the time they make their donation. Costs of the site and other maintenance fees are kept low and paid for as donations from rCFB, LLC.
